I have decided to become a couponer.
I have heard from many people that it is easy to save money buy clipping coupons and buying stuff when it is on sale. My parents have always used coupons but they have always bought in bulk as well. For instance, instead of buying a dozen cans of corn, my parents might buy 100 cans of corn- when on sale. Therefore when I started living on my own, I didn't see the need to coupon. Is it worth cutting coupons to save 30 cents on a single yogurt? Or 75 cents on two packages of cream cheese? Yet, I have heard crazy stories about people buying $30 or $40 dollars in groceries for only $3!!! That's crazy!!!
So last night I got a couple of newspapers and went through the coupons. I clipped a lot! I am still in the learning process of "how to save" money but hopefully I get really good at it! I don't plan on being an extreme couponer and have THOUSANDS of coupons for ridiculous things, but I wouldn't mind spending less money on my groceries :)
I will definitely update everyone once I do my first coupon shopping experience :)
This is a pretty simple blog. I post here randomly when I find the time between school, three jobs, and a boyfriend. I hope you enjoy it :)

Finally!
Well it's been awhile, a long while. School this term has been way overwhelming and it doesn't help that I have three different jobs. Even with all that, I am going to try and blog more...hopefully. So this post is just kind of a catch-up post, nothing too special to it. I will go back and make separate posts for the things that seem important and worth blogging about.
So this term was suppose to be easy, as all terms are in the field of Education Foundations. Well I was wrong. I have papers due weekly, pop quizzes on reading, projects, and a bunch of other stuff that just takes up time. As well, I am driving up to Salem every Friday to be in a classroom. Next term I am staying local! Even though the kids in Salem have been wonderful and I love my host teacher up there.
Then there are jobs, oh my jobs. So I technically have three, even though one is working for my parents. So I work for U of O food service, making lovely food for all the freshman...such a glamorous job! I would quit but I am guaranteed 17 hours a week which is really nice. Then there is Macy's. They started as my fall back job during Christmas break. I wanted something to do and I wanted to make a little extra money. I ended up being staying after the holidays which has been a nice little bonus to my paycheck. Except some weeks I don't work at all :( and other weeks I work 15 or so hours, so that is a little annoying. If I could get twenty to thirty hours with them then I would definitely quit my job for food service. Then my parents, well yea, I work for them too. Only one weekend a month though which is nice. I pretty much do that so they can get time off when they want it and the work there isn't too hard.
So what else takes up my time? Bryce. Definitely Bryce. I love that boy haha. It's nice always going back to my apartment and having him there. This year has been really great because we don't have to do the whole "when do you want to hang out?" business. We always hang out! I wish we had more time to do things together though. It is usually 8ish by the time I get home and I just want to get my homework done and sleep!! Hopefully next term will be better when it comes to the whole hanging out with my boyfriend thing :)
As well, there is one last distraction in my life: Pinterest. That site is so addicting and I could spend hours on it at a time!
Well time for me to get to work!! Hopefully I blog again soon!!
P.S. My lovely picture is from Pinterest and is a place in Cancun! I plan on finding this place when I go to Cancun this summer. It looks absolutely magical :)
